What is Kaynuna?

Kaynuna is an Arabic word with a powerful meaning.

It translates to “being”—but for us, it means something deeper.

It means discovering who you are from the inside out.
At Kaynuna, parents and educators walk this journey together, helping children uncover their Kaynuna—their individuality, their strengths, their way of being in the world—so they can grow with confidence and purpose.

We don’t know exactly what the future holds for our children.
But we do know what helps them face it.
That’s why we focus on building skills that last—adaptability, curiosity, and perseverance—so children don’t just grow…
they flourish.

Who is behind Kaynuna?

Hi, I’m Afia’ Omari, founder of Kaynuna.
I help parents and caregivers in the early years understand child development in a way that feels clear, empowering, and doable —so they can enjoy the parenting journey with less stress, less drama, and far fewer doubts.
My journey began as an early childhood teacher, moving across age groups and learning not just from children, but from the parents and caregivers beside them. Over time, one thing became clear:
When adults understand how and when children develop, adults start perceiving parenting in a whole different way and everything changes. The journey of upbringing and parenting becomes more enjoyable.
Welcome to the Kaynuna Village —where learning feels supportive, not overwhelming

Mission

Our mission is to support children, parents, and educators in discovering each child’s Kaynuna — their unique way of being in the world.

By empowering adults with clarity and insight, we create environments where children feel understood, capable, and free to grow into themselves— naturally and with purpose.

Vision

Our vision is a generation of children who know who they are, feel secure in their abilities, and step into the world with purpose, confidence, and a deep sense of belonging.
